If you are an international student living in certain areas of the world and want to take the 2013 January SAT to attend a university in the United States of America, contact your international representative before midnight tonight (EST) to register.
While not all international students must register this early for the January 2013 SAT, several do. If you are unsure of your SAT registration procedure, you can find an international representative trained to help you through the SAT registration process in your region. Different locations have different policies and procedures so it may be helpful to contact your representative as early as possible to ease your way. College Board International Representatives are available in several languages which can be an immense comfort to an anxious test taker.
If you are an international SAT student and would like tutoring for an upcoming college admissions test, either the SAT or ACT, please contact The Right Path and let us point you on your right path. If you are an American student wishing to take the SAT in the United States or one of its territories, today is the final day you may register for the October SAT. If you have not done so already and you wish to take this October’s SAT, you must call or register online by 11:59 pm Eastern Time, Monday, September 24, 2012.
Previously, the final date for October SAT registrations had been September 21, 2012. The College Board has extended this by three days for those wishing to register online or by phone; however, for those wishing to register by mail, the registration cutoff date has remained September 21. If your registration was not postmarked by September 21 at 11:50 pm, you must assume your registration has been denied.
Late registration does require an additional fee. It is $50 to register for the SAT during normal registration periods. Late registrants will add another $27 to that amount. The College Board does permit fee waivers for students meeting financial guidelines. These cutoff dates are not affected by an individual’s fee waiver status.
For more information on SAT test dates and registration go to the College Board website.
